K-9 came sooner than expected but at first it wouldn't light up or speak its catch phrase. I decided to change the batteries and that is all it needed. It works just fine

Got this as a gift for my dad for Christmas one year. He LOVED it! K-9 was one of his favorite characters in the show, and he keeps this little guy on his computer desk. You have to clip in the tail for the "put together" part, but he does have a button on him for sound effect/phrase (not sure which). Saw a youtube vid of someone who purchased this before deciding to get it. Took a little bit to get to my dad, but that's understandable considering where it came from when I ordered it. Overall, very happy.

Nice little figure of K9 from Doctor Who, molded in metallic flake blue plastic. Voice chip has one sample of "affirmative master" which is activated by the depressing the control panel portion on his back and is powered by three LR 41 batteries. When voice chip is activated, the light for his eyes comes on. There are no moving parts other than the four wheels on the bottom. Tail must be pushed into the figure and stays fixed with two prongs and is quite unmovable after assembly. Nice for the price and this is standard with all these "kits" of similar size. This one comes as "deluxe mega kit," probably due to the voice chip. Small accompanying book has remark on the last page of being assembled with hand craft methods and Smith-sewn for durability. Pages are satin gloss and a slight textured front and back covers.

I have the large remote control K9; however, it won’t fit on my desk. This was a perfect addition to my K9 collection. The voice of K9 is John Leeson’s... so it’s authentic just like the larger model. The model is very detailed considering it’s small size. I loved it so much I bought one for my home desk too.

The K-9 figure has a fair amount of detail. The sound clip seems to come from John Leeson, and not an imitation voiceover, which is nice. And I love the glowing red eye.

The booklet is surprisingly informative, and provides a comprehensive history on the exploits of K-9 (both the original and his various replicates/successors) from Doctor Who, K-9 & Company, and The Sarah Jane Adventures.

I'm impressed by the overall quality of the package, and think it's a great buy for the price.

very neat little package. book has nice photos and K-9 is the regular size to match my son's 5" figures. he is built of hollow plastic but seems sturdy enough for my 9 yr old. ears are delicate but tail is snapped on and will not come out. he has wheels and his eyes light up when he says "affirmative, master".

Very cute! I got it for my husband for christmas. He loves the old school dr. who and especially K-9. It has a little tail you snap on and it says "affirmative master!" as expected. The box is tiny (I thought the book would be bigger!) but still very fun. Worked great as a stocking stuffer!

Its K-9 and he talks, if your an old school Whovian like myself and you remember the Tom Baker years with fondness like I do then, chances are you will like this little K-9 for your desktop.

This is definitely the best one of this series. Not only is K-9 awesome in his own right, but in this figure his eyes light up red, and he says "Affirmative Master" in his K-9 voice. Unfortunately, that's the only phrase he knows.

He has wheels, and you have to attach his tail (look in the book for the correct orientation). I was really hoping his little radar ears would move, or his head would bob or something. Can't expect more for the price I guess.

I have all of them, and this is definitely the best one of the miniature Dr Who collection.
