update! A year old & survived Ida. Sustained 60mph gust with no problems.
**UPDATE* we’ve now had these for over a year, last night they were put to their biggest test yet, Hurricane Ida in south Louisiana. The metal frame was bent in some places, but the trampoline did not move. We are on a lake with an open field behind us, nothing to break up the wind, it was a very scary situation but the these anchors did exactly what they were supposed to do. **Bought these a few weeks back for hurricane prep. This weekend they finally got put to the test, 60 mph gust and 30 mph sustained winds and it didn’t move. The safety net was completely bent over at times but the base never budged. Great buy!

Works great. A little confusing to figure out the ties at first. We haven't had any bad wind storms yet to really test it out but it looks like it will do a good job of holding it down.

UPDATE: 1/4/2015
We just had a big windstorm that lasted two days in our town. We had freezing temperatures and ice on the ground that might have helped to hold the trampoline down but the winds got up to over 70 miles per hour and our trampoline stayed put. It shook and vibrated but the legs of the trampoline never lifted off the ground that I could see. Neighbors had fences blown down and the city lost power due to electric poles toppling over. Very glad we had it tied down with the anchor kit.

I just installed these. They seem very sturdy. I tried to put them on the way the pictures here show. It had alot of slack in the straps. So I ran them only on the ring frame, and straight to the anchors and they were very tight. Minimum movement or give. I think that's why some have trouble they put them around the legs like the picture describes. It gets slack and a big gust of wind grabs it and snaps it. Also be sure to tie up excess strap below the gator clip so it can't work it's self back loose. I would recommend these. Even if the straps break or fray. You can get a set of ratchet straps from Harbour freight real cheap and use them with the anchors.

Anchors pretty good, the straps...not so good. The anchors bore into the ground fairly easily, easier than driving a big stake with a hammer, which is what I was doing before. The straps that come with them are too confusing to use and mine broke after tightening it down right out of the box. I went to a hardware store and purchased good tie down straps that are very easy to use for $10 (four of them) and it works great. I have to move two traps to mow and fore me to relocate the tramps with 4 stakes and tie downs takes me about 15-20 minutes. They have worked in the wind storms so far.

A must have it you have a trampoline. Do yourself a favor and buy these to stake that trampoline down. We learned the hard way and had our first trampoline destroyed by winds. Since using these, no further issues.
Reviewed in the United States on August 20, 2013
The anchors seem to be VERY good, thick steel and galvanized. The directions are almost useless. Even though the two buckles are the same, they have different directions on how to use them. The second direction is the correct one, that one has it so as the strap tries to pull out it pulls on the jaws tighter keeping the strap from loosening.

The design flaw is that the strap end with 3 ends has one strap going back up the way it came. So it must be folded back on itself when tightening, meaning that the sewing is being pulled apart. This means in a year the threads are going to start to break. The strap should be going the same as the other two so that when stretched it looks like one strap instead of folding back pulling the seam open.

Was going to return this. But looking at the other products they seem to have the same design flaw. It is an easier way to manufacture, just wrong for durability. Maybe I'll use that strap to the anchor and keep it kinda loose. That way the seam isn't under constant pressure being pulled apart. It will only be under pressure during wind storms.

Wow! These things really did their job! I bought these last year to anchor our trampoline. Well, they were surely put to the test this past week. We had a horrible storm in central Texas. Several Tornados and 80-90 mph straight line winds with microburst. Our grill was flipped over, broken lawn furniture, the neighbors have a dumpster that got flipped upside down, broken fences and trees uprooted.... 2 trampolines wrapped around electric poles and ours is still standing!!! The poles to our safety net are bent and mangled, but the trampoline itself did not budge! Great product!
