These are absolutely adorable and fit true to size. They run a standard M, and my daughter has very narrow feet, but the strap helps them fit perfectly. They have rubber soles so you might even be able to consider them tennis shoes. I have never been disappointed with Stride Rite and it's pretty much the only brand I buy. My gal always outgrows them before they wear out so I am able to pass them along. I 'hear' Stride Rite!!

She plays in them hard, gets them dirty, yet the perfect color of silver and the sequins, they still look new. They fit her foot perfectly. We primarily buy See Kai Run shoes, and to be honest, these are far better than the SKR tennis shoes I bought her, and the SKR ones ran me $48. We definitely got our monies worth here, and I'm tempted to buy a few more for younger sister on the way!

We purchased these for my kindergartener as an every day shoe. They match pretty much everything, they are easy for her to put on by herself, they are stylish and cute but also very functional. She runs around in them with no problem. I will say the first time she wore them she got a blister on the back of her heel, but after that she never got another one. She wears between a size 10 and 11. I ordered her the 11 in these and they fit with some room to grow, which is probably why she got a blister. Great shoe that I will probably order for my other daughters as well.

Was glad I read that this shoe ran big as I ordered accordingly. My daughter is about an 11.5 and I ordered an 11 and it fit with room to grow.

I was looking for a shoe that would be comfortable, she could use all day including for gym and would look cute with both dresses and pants. This totally fit the bill.

I was happy that she could wear them immediately without a breaking in period and that the front curved part of the shoe didn't dig in like it has on other shoes this style.

My daughter has an average to wide foot and the width was great. I can see how it wouldn't work as well for a narrow fit.

The pink is sparkly and flashy enough for a 5 year old but yet not so much that I find it obnoxious. Win win!

I usually love Stride Rite...the shoes are well made and last a really long time. Plus, they usually fit well and have good support. These shoes are very stiff, especially around the edges. My daughter loves the way they look, but she won't wear them because they hurt her feet. They also seem to run a bit large. I'm hoping that in the next few months, as my daughter's feet grow just a bit, she'll want to wear these. Perhaps they just need longer than most shoes to be broken in.

I'd read they were a large fit from other reviews but I found them to be true to size, I got the 9M, and my daughter has a medium width foot. A couple of the sequins came off after the first wear so these aren't exactly playground shoes, but very pretty and I'm sure she'll get a lot of wear out of them.

I bought these shoes for my 3 1/2 year old daughter who loved them immediately except that they were humongous on her! We had just recently been to a Stride Rite store and got measured by a associate, but these shoes apparently don't run on the same size scale. I tried two different sizes and then gave up and returned them. Not only were they too big but they are kind of flimsy. There is not a lot of cushion around the sides of the shoe (similar to a Keds canvas shoes). I was looking for a deal but this wasn't worth it. I ended up with the sugar and spice, sky lighted mary jane shoe and those 9.5 fit perfect!
